Best time to sign up for a tour?
Booking for the 2012 Season has already begun. Since each tour has a limited number
of seats, reserve yours early! Your reservation is confirmed with a $500 per person
deposit.
From that moment we work with you on trip planning, genealogy, family research and
special requests. Reserving early gives you more time to find a good airfare and prepare
for your trip.

How to pay for your trip?
To sign up for a trip, a deposit of $500 per person is required.
A T.A.C. Contract will be mailed to you upon receipt of deposit.
The balance payment for the trip is due 3 months before tour begins.

Travelers are responsible for transportation to the tour meeting point.

Passport, Visa.
Eight 2012 Treasures Tours destinations are part of the European Union, except Ukraine. A valid passport is required. The European Union (Schengen Area) requires a passport valid for at least 6 months from date of entry.
USA and Canadian passports holders do not need visas for any of the countries we visit.

Tour price and what is included
Our prices are land only and are per person based on double occupancy.
Single supplement is $499 per person. Treasures Tour deposit is $500 per person.
Tour price include:
- hotel rooms with private bathroom
- bus transport throughout the trip
- two meals daily, local specialties
- festive gatherings, music & dance
- visits to castles, historic places, museums,
homes, artists, crafts people
all tips included except the bus driver who will carry your suitcase to and from your room throughout the tour.
We take pride in connecting families across the ocean and the years
and are proud of our 98% success rate! Once a tour deposit is received
we go to work to find long-lost family and plan your village visit. A
driver/guide/translator can spend a day or more in your village helping
you to meet your relatives and see the church, cemetery and family
homestead if still standing. Our travelers give this service rave
reviews.

Accomodations feature private bathrooms in the room.
Single rooms are available for $499.
For families, triple rooms are often availeble with no additional fee.
We can match you with a roommate and put you in contact before the trip begins when possible.
We use private bus transportation.
Jozef and Helene accompany tours together with local guides.

Health, Medicine, Trip insurance?
You are responsible to bring your medication for the duration of your trip.
We suggest having medications in your carry on in case of lost or delay of your checked suitcase.
If you have a medical condition, allergies or special needs bring printed information.
If you use prescribed medication, bring a printed list with you.
Routine vaccinations are recommended even if you do not travel. For current information, check: www.cdc.gov/
We are not allowed to recommend any specific trip insurance company, but we strongly recommend you insure
your trip and yourself.

Travelers receive a series of prersonalized letters beginning at sign on
through departure, covering most aspects.

Computers, Telephones, Internet, Voltage.
Voltage in Europe is 220V. Most modern electronic devices can handle
110 - 240V. In this case you need just a plug adapter. Check the label.
For other devices bring a voltage coverter.
Curling irons and hair driers require more powerful ones.

Money, Exchange, ATM, tipping in Europe
Time is provided at the beginning of a tour to exchange money and also throughout the tour.
ATMs are generally available on a daily basis.
Tipping, you can't go wrong with 10%.
